To further implement the overall deployment of the university's “3510” Strategic Project and continuously advance the TOP TUST, Tianjin University of Science and Technology (TUST) celebrated its Alumni Homecoming Day on September 26, 2026. On this occasion, the College of Artificial Intelligence organized a special homecoming event, welcoming alumni back to the College at the Binhai West Campus. The event featured an alumni gathering, visits to the university's Artificial Intelligence Science Education Base and the College 's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Base, providing an opportunity for alumni to revisit cherished campus memories, reconnect with former teachers and fellow graduates, and exchange ideas on the College 's future development. Dean Zhang Xiankun and Vice Dean Yang Shuo warmly welcomed the returning alumni.

At approximately 10:00 a.m., the alumni gathering commenced. Dean Zhang Xiankun and Vice Dean Yang Shuo introduced the College 's recent progress in discipline development, talent cultivation, industry-university-research collaboration, and student innovation and entrepreneurship. Drawing on their professional experiences, alumni actively participated in discussions and shared insights gained from their careers in artificial intelligence and related industries. Following the gathering, College leaders accompanied the alumni on visits to the Artificial Intelligence Science Education Base of Tianjin University of Science and Technology and the College 's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Base. During the visits, alumni gained firsthand insights into the development of the College 's science education platforms, explored artificial intelligence exhibits, and reflected on the College 's development over the years. College leaders introduced the positioning and development of the science education base, its educational activities, and the College 's achievements in artificial intelligence discipline development and innovation-oriented education.
