Recently, Stanford University and Elsevier jointly released the 2026 World's Top 2% Scientists list. Professor Lin Sun from our school was included in the "2026 Science Impact Ranking." The data for this list is sourced from the Scopus database. Based on six key metrics—total citations, H-index, Hm-index (H-index adjusted according to the number of authors), citations by a single author, citations by a single author or first author, and citations by a single author or first author or last (corresponding) author—the list identifies the top 2% of scientists worldwide, spanning 20 disciplinary fields and 174 sub-disciplinary fields.

Professor Lin Sun's inclusion in this list fully demonstrates the school's profound research heritage and international academic influence in the field of computer science; it also represents a landmark achievement resulting from the school's commitment to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, its continuous efforts to cultivate high-level talent, and its advancement of computer science discipline development and research innovation.
