Throughout his undergraduate years, Ma has maintained a rigorous and practical approach to scientific research. He has proactively explored cutting-edge research topics in his field, dedicating his spare time and vacations to academic inquiry and systematic research projects. Through extensive literature reviews, experimental validation, and continuous refinement of academic papers, he has strengthened his research foundation, developed critical academic thinking, and enhanced his capacity for innovation and practical problem-solving. During his undergraduate studies, Ma published four academic papers in high-level conferences and leading journals. These include one EI-indexed conference paper as the sole first author, one EI-indexed conference paper as the first author, and one EI-indexed conference paper as the second author. In addition, he published one paper as the second author in a top-tier journal ranked in Q1 of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) journal ranking system.

These research achievements demonstrate his solid theoretical knowledge, independent research capabilities, and ability to collaborate effectively within academic teams. They have also laid a strong foundation for his future postgraduate studies and academic development.

Practical Engagement: Strengthening Professional Competence and Social Responsibility

During his internship at the Zhejiang University Huzhou Research Institute, Ma actively explored emerging technologies, focusing on intelligent sensing and intelligent connected vehicles. He systematically studied key technologies such as multi-sensor fusion and joint calibration while gaining an in-depth understanding of the overall architecture, operational mechanisms, and industrial applications of intelligent connected vehicles.

Beyond academic research and professional practice, Ma has actively fulfilled his responsibilities as a young member of society by participating in volunteer service and social practice activities, accumulating more than 500 hours of volunteer service.

As the principal leader of a social practice team, he organized and led a rural revitalization project in Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
