Sun Yi has consistently held herself to high standards, actively studying the principles of the Communist Youth League and the theories of the Communist Party of China while integrating the core socialist values into her daily life. As class monitor, she regularly organizes themed class meetings each semester on patriotic education, fraud prevention, mental health, and academic integrity. Through these initiatives, she guides her classmates in developing sound values and demonstrates her commitment to fulfilling the responsibilities of young people in the new era.

She established a dormitory cleaning schedule to maintain a tidy living environment, implemented evening attendance checks, and facilitated communication and coordination among students on her dormitory floor.
