Sport ignites passion, and perseverance turns dreams into reality. On April 24, 2026, Tianjin University of Science and Technology (TUST) held its annual Athletics Championships at the Central Campus Track and Field Stadium on the Binhai Campus. After careful preparation and a week of intensive pre-competition training, the College of Artificial Intelligence achieved an outstanding result, winning first prize in the overall team competition and bringing sporting honors to the College.

At the opening ceremony, robots and robotic dogs led the College’s parade formation, showcasing their agility and the appeal of technology. They were followed by a creatively designed keyboard formation, reflecting the College’s spirit of innovation and pursuit of excellence under the university’s “TOP TUST” plan. The prominently displayed words “HELLO WORLD” represented not only the students’ youthful greeting to the future but also their bold declaration of determination to move forward with confidence and ambition.

In preparation for the championships, the College attached great importance to the event, viewing it as an important opportunity to implement the “TOP TUST” and demonstrate the College’s unity and collective strength. A dedicated organizing team was established, with key members of the Student Union taking responsibility for preparations. Athletes were carefully selected, and intensive training sessions and specialized practice were arranged every evening from Monday to Thursday at the West Campus sports field.

During the competition, the College’s athletes fully embraced the Olympic spirit of “Faster, Higher, Stronger,” giving their all and striving for excellence in every event. In the team competitions, the men’s 4 × 400-meter relay team secured first place and broke the university record, while the long-rope skipping team also claimed the championship. In the individual events, the College’s athletes competed with determination, earning first place in the men’s individual all-around competition and achieving excellent results in multiple track and field events. The collective efforts and unwavering determination of all the athletes ultimately propelled the College to first place in the overall team standings, marking a new milestone in its sporting achievements.

With youthful dreams and no regrets about the passing years, every moment of dedication matters. Although the exhilarating moments of the competition have now become memories, the determination and fighting spirit demonstrated by the College’s faculty and students will remain etched in their hearts. From meticulous preparation to the successful conclusion of the championships, the College consistently regarded the event as an important platform for strengthening unity among faculty and students and promoting a spirit of perseverance and determination. The achievement reflects the College of Artificial Intelligence’s strong commitment to sports and physical education.

Looking ahead, the College will continue to advance the implementation of the “TOP TUST” and uphold the spirit of perseverance, teamwork, and progress. With renewed enthusiasm and stronger unity, the College will strive for further achievements and write new chapters of success across a wide range of activities and competitions.
